This song came out during the tail end of the disco era and seamlessly combines the disco beat while adding a new wave flavor. Extremely innovative band, with a jaw-dropping hot lead singer.Blondie and I trained at a ton of the same gyms over the years. I saw her pumping-up all the time. It was very cool to workout next to Blondie. I loved her music so much back then, and now I love it even more. 

Stephen Colbert Imitates O'Reilly's "Inside Edition" Meltdown

On Tuesday night's "Colbert Report," Stephen Colbert had fun with Bill O'Reilly's "Inside Edition" meltdown, showing "never-before-seen" mock footage of his own past as midday anchor at WPTS in Patterson Springs, NC. Watch as Colbert freaks out over the words written on the teleprompter in true O'Reilly fashion (and throws in a Brian Williams shout-out as well):

I created this video in honor of an amazing women and singer/songwriter, Marianne Faithfull. Her song, "Electra", moves me everytime I play it and I have always felt that her life and mine often move in tandem. This video is not about me, it is about Ms. Faithfull.

The Dana Fuchs band- Live From NYC- "Rather Go Blind"

I saw Dana Fuchs last night at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie New York. She opened for Dickey Betts and Great Southern. Great concert. She reminded me of a pretty hippie chick from the 70's and sounded like Janis Goplin. It's great to see that this type of scene still exists. Very mellow crowd.
