A MAG is not a Schmoe

In regards to your aticle about Schmoes, (hope I have spelt it correctlly) what is the difference between a female bodybuilding fan and a Schmoe? Just curious.

Dear Glen:

I don't like the word Schmoe.
It's demeaning. I prefer "MAG" (Muscle Adoring Guy)
I coined this term because it sounds much nicer than Schmoe.

The difference is that a Schmoe has a fetish that is somewhat irrational.
A "MAG" admires the female bodybuiilder, but is not possessed by his admiration.

The problem with "MAG" is that it could be taken as short for "maggot". I know...nothing's perfect...

It's really MAGS (muscle adoring guys.) That is better then Mag and it does not sound like maggot.

Yeah, that's good. But, I think I must be a schmoe at heart because my admiration is anything but rational. Schlemiel, schmoe, whatever. : )

I think I prefer "MAGS", makes me think of Magnum, magnificent.... Schmoe just sounds negative.
